Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.
Sample Text	The Book of Zakat, Chapter on the Obligation of Zakat and the words of God Almighty: {And establish prayer and pay zakat} ... ...Chapter on reconciliation by debt and in kind... He said, “O Ka’b.” He said, “At your command, O Messenger of God.” So he motioned with his hand to put the half down. Ka’b said, “I have done so, O Messenger of God.” Then the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “Get up and pay it.”
