Al-Qastalani says... Praise be to God, who explained with the knowledge of the scholars of the Prophetic Sunnah the origins of his saints and who inspired the souls of his beloved and pure people by listening to its good conversations.... And after that, the knowledge of the Prophet’s Sunnah, after the Mighty Book, is the greatest of sciences.... And the book of Al-Bukhari... came from the authentic hadith and its jurisprudence in a way that had never been done before and no one had resorted to it... And the dangers of attaching to it an explanation in which I mixed it up... so write it down... and I called it guidance. Al-Sari according to Sahih Al-Bukhari.... This is an introduction that includes the means of objectives that guide one to the righteous and intentional guidance, including chapters that are the branches of the rules of this explanation of the principles... ...Chapter on prayer towards the spear.

وقَفَ الوزيرُ الحاجُّ أسعدُ باشا محافظُ الشامِ على مدرسةِ والدِه الحاجِّ إسماعيلَ باشا واشترَطَ الواقف المومئُ إليه ألَّا يخرجَ من مكانِه.#الحمدُ للهِ من كُتِبِ الفقيرِ محمَّدِ بنِ علاءِ الدِّينِ الطرابلسيِّ الإمامِ الحنفيِّ بالجامعِ الأمويِّ سنة 1037.#قراءاتٌ: في عدةِ مجالسَ كانَ هذا آخرُها: «الحمدُ للهِ بلَغَ قراءةً على كاتبِه الفقيرِ يحيى القاضي ببعلبك بجامِعها الكبيرِ في صيامِ رمضانَ سنةَ 1140هـ يسَّرَ اللهُ إتمامَه».#عليها الكثيرُ منَ التَّعليقاتِ والتَّصحيحاتِ والنقولِ بعضها من شروحٍ أُخرى «للبُخاريِّ».#مطالعاتٌ: بلَغَ مطالعةً إلى هنا على كتاب شيخِنا الشيخ عبدُ العزيزِ المنوفي سنة 1226.#مقابلاتٌ: دلَّ عليها فوارقُ النُّسخِ. #تملُّكٌ: المكتبة العمومية بدمشقَ الشامِ 1297.
