It contains from the Book of the Gift to the beginning of creation, and from the Book of the Prophets to the interpretation.# The copy is perforated, the first and the last.# I wrote the words of Chapter and Hadith in red ink and the rest of the text in black. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.
