The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

Chapter on the virtues of the Ansar and the saying of God Almighty: “And those who lived in the abode and the faith before them love those who emigrated to them, but they do not find it in their breasts” ... ...for you, if you tell the truth about her, then it is for what she made lawful for her relief, and if you lied to her, then that is farther and farther for you from her, and may God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad.
