At the beginning is an introductory painting, the upper part of which was drawn in the form of a phalanx, inside which was written the name of the part and the name of the book, and the lower part of which was drawn in the form of an inverted triangle, gilded and colored, and inside which was written the rest of the name of the book and the name of the author. It has a division of parts, so it began with the nineteenth part until it reached the twenty-fourth part of the division of sixty. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

(Chapter: Farming in half and the like) And Qais bin Muslim said on the authority of Abu Jaafar, who said: There is no city in the city of the Prophet’s family except that they farm on a third and a quarter... ... (Chapter: If a polytheist burns a Muslim, will he be burned?) Mu’alla bin Asad told us... (Chapter) Yahya bin Bukair told us... I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying, “An ant pinched a prophet from among the prophets, so he ordered the village of ants to be burned, and it was burned. Then God revealed to him, ‘If you pinch an ant, you burn a nation. Of the nations you praise.” The end of the fourth part... and it will be followed, God Almighty willing, in the fifth, the chapter on burning houses and palm trees. Musaddad told us, he said, Yahya told us on the authority of Ismail, and praise be to God, Lord of the worlds.
