It contains corrections, comments, and transcription differences in the margin. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

In the name of God.. Chapter on what was said about earthquakes and signs. Abu al-Yaman told us. Shuaib told us. Abu al-Zannad said, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, who said: The Prophet said.. ... Chapter on what is forbidden from woe and claims of pre-Islamic times in the event of calamity. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: He who strikes the cheeks, rips the pockets, and prays with pre-Islamic pre-Islamic times is not one of us. The fifth part of the division of thirty has been completed, and to Him belongs praise and blessings, and it is followed in the sixth part by the chapter on the one who sits at the time of calamity, in which sadness is known.
