(After the basmala and the prayer) The book of ar-Raqqaq with a kasra on the rā’ and with two rhymes between them is a thousand plurals of rāqīq, and it is the one in which there is rāqāq, which is mercy. ... Likewise, if he pays it and dies, he does not owe anything on his money, because zakat is only due on the money as long as it remains in his debt, and this one who died has nothing left in his debt.
