Notes	The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH. \| “From the chapter on building the Kaaba to the chapter on what is eaten of sacrificial meat and what is provided from it.”
Sample Text	Chapter on building the Kaaba. Mahmoud bin Abdul Razzaq told me. He told me. Ibn Jarih said.... He said when the Kaaba was built, the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and Abbas went to move stones. Abbas said to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, “Place your garment around your neck to protect you from the stones.” He fell down to the ground and his eyes looked to the sky... ...Chapter What is eaten of sacrificial meat and what is provided for from it. Ali bin Abdullah told us. He said, Ataa told me. Jabir bin Abdullah heard him say, “We were We provided ourselves with sacrificial meat during the time of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace... Muhammad bin Abdul Rahim told us... The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Eat from the sacrificial meat three times... the end of the third part... and it is followed in the fourth part by the Book of Drinks.
