Minus other copy. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

Chapter {When you ascended and did not turn away from anyone, while the Messenger was calling you in the rear, he rewarded you with grief for grief so that you would not grieve over what you had missed or what had befallen you, and God is aware of what you do}...Abu Ishaq told us, saying, I heard Al-Baraa bin Azib, may God Almighty be pleased with them, saying that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, placed Abdullah bin Jubair on the men’s footsteps on the day of Uhud, and they approached in defeat... On the authority of Ka’b bin Ajrah, may God Almighty be pleased with him, he said, the Prophet, may God Almighty be pleased with him, came to me. At the time of Hudaybiyyah, lice were scattered on my face. He said, “Are the vermin on your head hurting you?” I said, “Yes.” He said, “Then shave and fast for three days.”
