I wrote the chapters and paragraph heads in red and the rest of the text in black.#The sixteenth part preceding this part was omitted.#It was written in a naskh script.#A copy missing the first and the last. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

Ibn Malik said: Shu'bah said, so I said: Help the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and Shadid said, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, whoever wears silk in this world will not wear it in the afterlife... ...Chapter on lying down. Abu Abbad bin Tamim said on the authority of his uncle who said: I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, in the mosque lying down.
