Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds... And after that, I came across many of the hadiths that the scholars had recorded of the hadiths of the Messenger of God... and I saw that each of them... had followed a method that his purpose had led to in what he had written down... And since the advanced scholars in this art... were preoccupied with correcting the hadith... and I had passed away before giving up to improve the situation and arrangement, the righteous successor came and they loved to show that virtue either by depositing an arrangement or by increasing the refinement... Then... Al-Mubarak bin Muhammad... bin Al-Jazari... looked at the book of Razin Al-Hawi... So he highlighted it in a book that he called Jami` al-Usul... So I devoted myself to collecting and narrating it and decided to work on it... So he informed me of all of it... So I sought the help of God Almighty in abstracting his information... Let him be known for abstracting the fundamentals in the hadiths of the Messenger... ... The Book of Attributes... He said I heard the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, reciting this verse (Indeed, God commands you to return trusts to their owners) until the Almighty’s saying (Indeed, God is All-Hearing, All-Seeing) and I saw the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, reading God, may God bless him and grant him peace, places his thumb over his ear and the next over his eye at the end of the first part
