The physical condition of the manuscript is good, except that the edges of the last leaves are corroded.# It contains interviews and readings by Timbuktu scholars. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

Muawiyah, may God be pleased with him, mentioned: Al-Hasan Ibn Bishr said: Al-Ma’afir told me, on the authority of Uthman Ibn Al-Aswad, on the authority of Abu Mulaika: Mu’awiyah performed the Witr prayer after the evening prayer with a rak’ah with him, then Ibn Abbas came and said, Leave him, for he accompanied the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.
