It is heavy with comments, corrections, and transcription differences in the margin. The volume has an internal division of the book starting from the sixteenth part to the twentieth part of a thirty-part division. Each division is separated by a decorated and gilded introductory plate with the part number. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.
