It contains comments, corrections, and transcription differences in the margin. - It was written on the cover of the copy: “Part Twenty-Seven of the Thirty.” - This part is continued in the next part in a copy preserved at Imam Muhammad bin Saud University in Riyadh, No. (1935), registration number (41754). - The papers from (36/A) to the end were written in a different handwriting. | Date of death of the copyist: alive in the year 846 AH. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم الحمدُ للهِ الَّذي وقفَ أسرارَ أعمالِ عبادهِ، والصلاةُ على رسولِه وآلِه، صلاةً دائمةً دوامً الأبدِ وآباده، وبعدُ: قدْ وقفتُ هذه النُّسخةَ الشريفةَ مع ثلاثينَ أجزاء وقفًا صحيحًا مؤبًّدا ووضعتُها دارَ الكتبِ الَّتي في مدرستِي، وشرطتُ أن لَا يخرجَ إلَّا بالرهنِ الغال {فَمَنْ بَدَّلَهُ} الآية، وأنا الفقيرُ الحاجُّ محمَّدٌ راغبُ بنُ محمَّدٍ مسعودٍ أفندي عُفِي عنهما.
