Notes The author of the book, Maher Taher Ismail Al-Barzanji, said about the time of writing the book: None of the authors of biographies and classes mentioned the time in which Ibn Malik wrote his book Mubariq al-Azhar, but he wrote it in the eighth century, and perhaps he wrote it before the middle of it, and God knows best.
Sample Text Praise be to God for the gift of guidance and Islam... And then the weak one says... Abd al-Latif bin Abd al-Aziz, known as Ibn Malik... When he clarified the aspects of the meanings and made it right to look at the outcome, the highest knowledge came to be a beacon and attainable and the most elusive of it was merit and beauty... And among the best of it is the knowledge of hadith... And from what was compiled in it... The Book of Mashariq Al-Anwar...... Anas, may God be pleased with him, narrated on his authority from Labbaik, Umrah and Hajj, in the nominative position, i.e., intending, Umrah, and by removing the Khafiz, i.e., Umrah. This indicates He, peace be upon him, was a comparison. The previous discussion, peace be upon him, is the most correct of the narrations contained in it at the beginning of Chapter Nine. Praise be to God for its completion, and to His Messenger, the best of peace.
