It has corrections. - It has comments. | Date of death of the copyist: Death in the year 892 AH. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

The opening of the manuscript: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Our Lord, bestow upon us patience and cause us to die as Muslims. Chapter on the virtues of Ammar and Hudhayfah... ... Conclusion of the manuscript: Chapter: God Almighty’s saying, “So when you eat, spread out”... The end of the third part of Sahih Al-Bukhari, may God have mercy on him, divided into four parts. It is followed at the beginning of the fourth. In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Book: Aqeeqah, Chapter: Naming the newborn the day after he is born for those who have not performed the aqeeqah, and performing his ritual aqeeqah, and praise be to God alone.

الحمدُ للهِ، وقَفَ مولانا المقامُ الشريفُ الملكُ الأشرفُ أبو النصرِ قايتباي نصرَه اللهُ تعالى نصرًا عزيزًا هذا الجزءَ الثالثَ من «صَحيحِ البُخاريِّ» لينتفعَ به الانتفاعَ الشرعيَّ، وجعَلَ مقرَّه بالمسجدِ المستجدِّ الإنشاء بالبرجِ الَّذي أنشأَه مولانا المقامُ الشريفُ الواقفُ المذكورُ بثغر الإسكندرية المحروسةِ، وشرَطَ أن لَا يخرجَ من البرجِ المذكورِ إلا برهن يُوثَقُ به، وبه شهِدَ عليه بتاريخ.
