Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds... As for what follows, he says... Muhammad bin Ali Al-Shafi’i Al-Shinwani has blessed me with reading the summary of Al-Bukhari by Imam... Ibn Abi Jamrah... along with reading some of the commentators on the book and some of the commentators on Al-Bukhari. I collected during the reading some words on my copy. Then when it was the year one thousand and ninety-five, some of the honorable people asked me... to read the aforementioned book and collect the writing that I stuck in the margin of my copy along with reviewing some of the commentators on the book and reviewing Fath Al-Bari... so I answered him to that... ... it is permissible for you to do so... Radwani; That is: He sent it down to you... and the greatest of them is seeing the greatest lover, as is the doctrine of the Sunnis, contrary to those of the heretics who forbid it. O God, seal for us the seal of happiness... and may God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him.
