Chapter on the Almighty’s saying: {And when they reached it, a gathering between them} meaning the gathering of the two seas, and between them an adverb was added to it in breadth: {they forgot their whale} Joshua forgot to mention to Moses what he had seen of the life of the whale... ...Chapter on the saying of God Almighty, “And We set up just scales... So if the one who looks into it recognizes a mistake, let him forgive it, and do not be of those who rejoice in errors, and let him correct what he finds corrupt, for God Almighty has condemned a group, saying, ‘They spread corruption on earth, and They will be reconciled, and I ask God to make this explanation a means to His satisfaction and Paradise, and to prevent us from Hell with the closest Paradise, and just as He has granted it, the goodness of that blessing will be accepted.
