“In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.” This was omitted in Ibn Asakir’s “Book of Prayer.” Its parsing is clear. As for the meaning of prayer, it is in the language supplication. God Almighty said, “And pray for them,” meaning, pray for them. And in the hadith in response to supplication, if he is fasting, then he should pray, meaning, let him pray for goodness and blessings for them... ... Conclusion: The Book of Timings included one hundred and seventeen hadiths, and the commentator on that is thirty-six hadiths... and it contains three authenticated narrations, and God knows best. This third part of the explanation of Sahih al-Bukhari has been completed.
