In this hadith, advice is called religion and Islam, and religion applies to action as it applies to speech. He said, and advice is an obligation in which it is sufficient for whoever does it and waives it for the rest. He said, and advice is waived for the rest. It is necessary to the extent possible if the advisee knows that his advice will be accepted, his commands will be obeyed, and he will be safe from harm. In this hadith, advice is called religion and Islam, and religion applies to action as well as words. He said, “And advice is an obligation in which the one who does it is sufficient and it is waived for the rest.” He said, “Advice is necessary according to strength if the advisee knows that his advice will be accepted, his commands will be obeyed, and he will be safe from harming himself.”
