A good copy, corresponding to many copies, containing fragments of the original, starting from “Part Forty-Nine” until Part Fifty-Four. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. (Chapter on Pictures) Adam told us... On the authority of Abu Talha, the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or pictures.” ... (Chapter on stoning at court) Muhammad bin Uthman bin Karama told us... on the authority of Ibn Umar, who said: A Jew and a Jewish woman came to the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and both of them had committed infidelity... Abdullah bin Salam said, “Call them, O Messenger of God, to the Torah.” Then, behold, the verse about stoning was under his hand, so the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, ordered them to be stoned. Ibn Umar said: So they were stoned at the court, and I saw the Jew bent over it. The end of the ninth part of Sahih al-Bukhari, may God have mercy on him, divided into ten parts, and it will be recited, God willing, in the tenth, the chapter on stoning in the prayer place. Mahmoud told us, Abdul Razzaq told us... Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds.
