The name of the donor was taken from the cover of the second part of the same copy, and his date was taken from the end of the third part of it. | The date of copying has been confirmed from the second part, which is in the Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Library under the number (general number: (12942); special number: (1142)); It was stated in it that the date of copying was: “Fifteen Safar (1282) one thousand two hundred and eighty-two of the Prophet’s Hijra.” Date of the copyist’s death: He was alive in 1282 AH. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.
