The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

Chapter on the virtues of the Ansar: “And those who lived in the abode and the faith before them” The verse: Musa bin Ismail told us, Mahdi told us... ...and Abu Salamah Thuwaybah, so do not present them to your daughters or your sisters. And Shuaib said, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, he said: ‘Urwah was freed by Abu Lahab. The third part of Sahih, the text of Al-Bukhari, is completed, and the fourth part is followed from the beginning of the book on food.
