Sample Text Praise be to God who has made clear a path to the landmarks of Islam, made the Sunnah a guide, and sent a messenger to the paths of guidance who paved the way for the principles of the laws. Ahmad, praise be to Him, whose satisfaction will be sure to guarantee, and victory in meeting with him will be granted... As for what follows, this book is based on three pillars, the first in the principles, the second in the objectives, and the third in the conclusions. The first pillar is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is on the motivation for this book and contains an introduction and four chapters... The fourth chapter is in the summary of the purpose of compiling this book... when I came across these books. I saw it in a very beautiful setting and beautiful arrangement, and I saw the book of Razin, may God have mercy on him, which was the largest and most comprehensive, as it contained these six books... I loved to work with this book that compiled these books... so I was compelled by myself to refine his book and arrange its chapters... and add to it what he had omitted from the fundamentals and follow it with an explanation of the hadiths of strange things, parsing, meaning, and other things... So I set about combining these six books that Razin, may God have mercy on him, had deposited his book, and I believed what he had done and arranged it, and I relied on what he had done and arranged it. On the principles, not his book... And I called it the book “Jami’ al-Usul fi the Hadiths of the Messenger”… The fifth chapter is about mentioning the chains of transmission of the fundamental books deposited in this book of ours… As for the book of Razin, the sheikh, the imam, the scholar, Abu Jaafar al-Mubarak bin Ahmad bin Razin al-Haddad, the reciter al-Wasiti, approved it in the year five hundred and eighty-nine… This is the end of the first pillar, followed by the second pillar in Maqasid, and it is divided by the number of letters in the dictionary, twenty-eight letters… The number of the rest of each letter of the books will come when Mention it, God willing. Praise be to God Almighty for its completion.
