The first is incomplete, the second is incomplete, and has holes.# It appears that the copy is fabricated, as it has more than one line.# The text was written in black ink, and the titles were written in red ink, or gold, or in a font larger than black, or by lengthening the second letter to punch a chapter, or without distinction, due to the differences in the lines and copyists within the copy. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. A tree authorized them. Musa bin Ismail told us, he said: Amr bin Yahya bin Saeed told us... that he used to carry with the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, tools for his ablution and his needs.... Chapter on the Islam of Abu Dharr al-Ghafari. Al-Muthanna told us... ... Chapter: Read the Qur’an what your hearts have agreed upon... So I took his hand and went with it to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. You are both doers of good, so recite the greatest of my knowledge. He said, “For those who were before you disagreed, and he destroyed them.”
