Al-Jawzaqi, may God be pleased with him, said: Praise be to God, who is to be thanked for the blessings he bestows upon them.... The book of Sahih from the collected reports on its authenticity... Al-Bukhari... and... Muslim... mentioned are their texts from which most of the chains of their chains of narration have been omitted. This is intended to facilitate the path of those who wish to memorize it and reduce the burden on them in writing, memorizing and carrying... It is mentioned at the end of every hadith that is unique in its narration. One of them was narrated by so-and-so, and what he left out in it is from what they all narrated. ... Mentioning the news of interpretation and the meanings of the readings... On the authority of Omar, he stood up and preached on the pulpit of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, praising God and praising Him, then he said, “As for what follows, the prohibition on alcohol was revealed on the day it was revealed, and it is made up of five things: grapes, dates, honey, wheat, barley, and wine, whatever the mind desires. Complete the book.”
