It contains comments, corrections, and transcription differences in the margin. - The beginning of it is missing the chain of transmission of the narration, and only what appears from it is: “Two hundred and forty-eight and again in Bukharan in the year two hundred and fifty-two,” he said. - From folio (42) to folio (64), and from folio (192) to folio (245) written in a different, modern handwriting. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.
