Chapter on selling dates for dates, Abu Al-Walid told us, he said, Al-Layth told us, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, on the authority of Malik bin Aws, he heard Ibn Umar, may God be pleased with them both, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, who said, “Right for righteousness is usury, except for Ha and Ha, and barley for barley is usury... ...
