A corrected copy, with some comments in the margin. - The copy date is taken as an estimate. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

“Al-Ahzab,” and Mujahid Al-Sayyasi said, “meaning their palaces.” Ibrahim bin Al-Mundhir told me and Muhammad bin Falih told us... on the authority of Abu Hurairah... on the authority of the Prophet... he said, “There is no believer except that I am more worthy of people in this world and in the hereafter. Read, if you wish, the Prophet is more worthy of the believers than they are themselves... so let him come to me, for I am his master.” ... “Say, ‘I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind.’” Say, “I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind.” And he mentions on the authority of Ibn Abbas the whisperer. If he is born, Satan deceives him. If he mentions God, he goes, and if he does not mention God, his heart remains firm... We say as The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said... “Part twenty-one of Bukhari’s book has been completed.”

وقفُ المدرسةِ الفخريةِ بينَ السوريْنِ. #محضرٌ مِنْ جامعِ الفخري الشهيرِ بالبنات، وأضيفَ في 5 فبراير سنةَ 1882م، 17727، حديث 798.#عليها ختمُ وقفِ الكتبخانيةِ الخديويةِ المصريةِ.#الحمدُ للهِ، قرأَ جميعَه فقيرُ رحمةِ ربِّه يحيى بن قانصوه الشريفيُّ على سيدِنا ومولانا الشيخِ محيي الدِّينِ القرشيِّ كانَ الله له، وأجازَ لي بذلك وبجميعِ ما يجوز له وعنه روايته بشرطِه في تاسع عَشَر رجب الفردِ سنةَ أربعَ عَشَر وتسعمائةٍ. #الحمدُ للهِ، بلَغَ سيدي أبو بكرٍ العباسيُّ قراءةً عليَّ نفعَ اللهُ به.#الحمد لله.
