It contains corrections, comments, and transcription differences in the margin. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

The Book of Drinks and the saying of God Almighty: “Indeed, wine, gambling, stones, and stones are an abomination” ... on the authority of Ibn Umar that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: Whoever drinks wine in this world and then does not repent will be forbidden from it in the hereafter... Chapter on the saying of God Almighty: {And We set up just scales for the Day of Resurrection}, and that the deeds of the sons of Adam and their words will be weighed... The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: Two words beloved to the Most Merciful, light on the tongue and heavy in Libra, Glory be to God and praise be to Him, Glory be to God Almighty.
