The titles were written in red and tabulated | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

Chapter on the beginning of the revelation to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the saying of God, glory be to His remembrance, “I or We have revealed to you just as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him.” Al-Humaidi Abdullah bin Al-Zubair narrated to us, saying, “... ... Manaqib S. Lam, the servant of Abu Hudhayfah, Sulaiman Ibn Harb narrated to us, Saeed said, on the authority of Omar, and Ibn Murrah, on the authority of Ibrahim, on the authority of Masruq, who said, Abdullah mentioned, on the authority of Abdullah Ibn Amr Salam, who said, ‘Recite the Qur’an’...
