Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

Al-Rabi’ ibn Khathim and Al-Hasan said, “Everything is easy for him.” ... Ahmad ibn al-Hasan said: Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Hanbal ibn Hilal said: Mu`tamar ibn Sulaiman said: on the authority of Ibn Buraidah, on the authority of his father: he said, he fought sixteen battles with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.
