Notes	The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH. \| From the chapter on the man’s saying, “May God make me my ransom for you,” to the chapter on the words of God Almighty: “And We set the just scales for the Day of Resurrection.”
Sample Text	Chapter on the man’s saying, “May God make me your ransom,” and Abu Bakr said to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, “So we ransomed you with our fathers and mothers.” Ali bin Abdullah told us... that he and Abu Talha came with the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him.
