أخبرَنَا الشيخُ الإمامُ الفقيهُ الحافظُ شيخُ الإسلامِ، أوحدُ الأنامِ، بقيةُ السلفِ وعمادُ الخلفِ، أبو طاهرٍ أحمدُ بنُ محمَّدِ بنِ أحمدَ بنِ محمَّدِ بنِ إبراهيمَ السلفيُّ الأصبهانيُّ رضِيَ اللهُ عنه وأرضاه، قراءةً عليْهِ وأنا أسمَعُ في منزلِه بمدرسةِ العادليةِ بثغرِ الإسكندريةِ، في سنةِ سبعينَ وخمسمائةٍ، قِيلَ له: أخبَرَكُم رضِيَ اللهُ عنِ الشيخِ أبو الحسنِ المباركُ بنُ عبدِ الجبار بنِ أحمدَ الصرفيُّ بقراءتِك عليْهِ ببغدادَ فأقرَّ به، أنا أبو طالبٍ محمَّدُ بنُ عليِّ بنِ الفتحِ محمَّدِ بنِ عليِّ بنِ الفتحِ الجربيُّ، عنِ أبي الحسنِ عليِّ بنِ عمرَ بنِ أحمدَ الحافظِ الدارقطنيِّ.
