The ninth part (41078) begins with the Book of Atonements for Oaths, and the end of this part is the Book of Oaths and Vows - except that it is missing from the middle of a chapter: Do oaths and vows include land, sheep, crops, and belongings - and that what comes after it is the Book of Atonements for Oaths, which is the beginning of the ninth part. This confirms what we have proven that this part is the eighth part, so pay attention! | Date of death of the copyist: alive in the year 791. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.
