It is over. - It was written at the end of the copy that it is drawn by the poor Muhammad al-Qalti al-Maliki. | Date of death of the copyist: 1111 AH. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

وقَفَ وحبَسَ وسبَّلَ وتصَدَّقَ للهِ تعالى المرحومُ الحاجُّ عيسى أفندي هذا الجزءَ من «صحيحِ البُخاريِّ»، وجعَلَ مقرَّه بخزانتِه الَّذي وقَفَها بالجامعِ الأزهرِ سعادة عبد الرَّحمنِ كتخدا مستحفظاً لَا يُباعُ ولَا يُوهَبُ ولَا يُرهَنُ، {فَمَنْ بَدَّلَهُ بَعْدَ مَا سَمِعَهُ فَإِنَّمَا إِثْمُهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ يُبَدِّلُونَهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ} في 23 رجب سنةَ 1197هــــ.
