Full version. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

Chapter: How was the beginning of the revelation to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the saying of God Almighty, “Indeed, We have revealed to you just as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him... I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say, ‘Actions are but by intentions, but to every person is what he intended...’ Chapter: The saying of God Almighty, ‘And We set the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection...’ And Mujahid Al-Qastas said, ‘Justice is in Romans, and justice is the source of justice, which is the just, while the just is the unjust...’ Two beloved words. The Most Gracious are light on the tongue... Glory be to God and praise be to Him, Glory be to God the Great.
