A good copy, corresponding to many copies, includes headphones and readings for the councils, and contains parts of the original fragment, starting from “Part Twenty-Five” until Part Thirty. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH. | From the chapter on burning houses and palm trees to the chapter on the merits of Abdullah bin Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with them both

(Chapter on burning houses and palm trees) Musaddad told us, Yahya told us... Jarir told me, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to me, “Will you not relieve me of Dhul-Khalasa?” And there was a house in Khath’am called the Yemeni Kaaba... ... (Chapter on the virtues of Abdullah bin Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with them both)... Yahya bin Sulaiman told us... on the authority of Ibn Omar, on the authority of his sister Hafsa, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to her, “Indeed, Abdullah is a righteous man.” The end of the fifth part of ten parts, and it will be followed at the beginning of the sixth, God willing, in the chapter on the virtues of Ammar and Hudhayfah, may God be pleased with them. Praise be to God, first and last, outwardly and inwardly.

الحمد لله وسلام على عباده الذين اصطفى أما بعد فقد قرأ عليَّ هذا المجلد وهو الخامس من عشرة من صحيح البخاري مالكه الشيخ الخطيب علاء الدين علي بن الشيخ المرحوم يوسف بن عثمان المارديني الأصل ثم الدمشقي في مجالس آخرها يوم الثلاثاء سابع عشري جمادى الآخرة سنة ستين وثمان مائة وقد أجزت له أن يرويه عني وأن يروي عني جميع ما تجوز لي روايته بشرطه وكتبه العبد أحمد بن محمد بن أحمد بن أبي بكر بن زيد لطف الله تعالى به حامدا لله تعالى ومصليا على نبيه محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم وحسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل.
