I wrote the titles, the words we spoke to, and the frames I wrote in red ink, while I wrote the rest of the text in black. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Chapter: How was the beginning of the revelation to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the saying of God, Blessed and Most High, {Indeed, We have revealed to you}... Chapter: The person in seclusion enters his head for washing... While he is in seclusion in the mosque and she is in her room, he hands his head to her. Completed a quarter of Bukhari.

أوقَفَ وحبَسَ وتصَدَّقَ للهِ سبحانه وتعالى المكرَّمُ صالحٌ محمَّدٌ نخلة الماورديُّ هذا الكتابَ، وهوَ «صحيحُ البُخاريِّ» المشتملُ على ثلاثةِ أجزاءٍ غير هذا الجزءِ الأوَّلِ، وجعَلَ مقرَّه برواقِ السَّادة المغاربةِ بالجامعِ الأزهرِ، {فَمَنْ بَدَّلَهُ بَعْدَ مَا سَمِعَهُ فَإِنَّمَا إِثْمُهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ يُبَدِّلُونَهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ} ذو القعدةِ سنةَ 1291 هـ.
