A copy severely damaged by humidity and restoration. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH. | “From the beginning of the chapter on the migration of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his companions to Medina, to the middle of the Book of Obligations, the chapter on what women inherit from loyalty.”

Chapter on the migration of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his companions to Medina... On the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, had it not been for the migration, I would have been one of the Ansar... On the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, I saw in a dream that I was migrating from Mecca to a land in which there was miserliness, so I went and decided that it was Al-Yamamah or Hijra, and if it was Medina, he would be rewarded... ...Chapter If he converted to Islam at his hands and Al-Hasan did not see him having guardianship, and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said loyalty to whomever was freed... On the authority of Aisha, the Messenger of God said. May God’s prayers and peace be upon him. Loyalty is to the one who gives the paper and the one who grants blessings.
