On the cover plate there is a mention of the books and the chapters explained within the book. On folio (51) there is proof that it is the end of the third part of the abstract of the work and that this part was dictated in the month of Rabi’ al-Awwal in the year seventeen hundred and eight hundred. On folio (239) a booklet was found, and a few side headings were found to clarify what is in the text. | The date of completion of the book's writing was confirmed from the Library of the Chief Writer, No. (194); It was stated in it: “The author, may God Almighty have mercy on him, said that his collection, Ahmad bin Ali, was completed... on the first day of Rajab Al-Farad in the year one hundred and eight forty-two, except for what he added to this booklet on the twelfth of Rajab of that year. He collected the introduction in the year thirteen and began explaining it in the beginning of the year seventeen, and praise be to God.”

Praise be to God who has enlightened the hearts of the people of Islam with guidance and poked the hearts of the tyrannical, so that they will never comprehend wisdom... Now that I have embarked on what I intended of explaining Al-Jami’ Al-Sahih... I called it Fath Al-Bari bi Sharh Al-Bukhari. ... Conclusion: The chapters on facing the qiblah and the rulings related to mosques and the prayer’s sutrah from the transmitted hadiths included eighty-six hadiths... The last of the first volume of Fath Al-Bari... from a division of twelve volumes...
