On the authority of Amr ibn Absa, I said, “O Messenger of God, tell me about ablution.” He said, “There is not a man among you who approaches his ablution, rinses his mouth, inhales, and then sprinkles it except that his sins fall out, and in him are... the elbows, but the sins of his hands fall out.” Whoever dips his fingertips with water and then wipes his head, the sins fall out of his head...
