The other is missing, and it says at the end of it: Ten and a half pages were missing from the complete cut from page 396 to page 401. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

قراءات: الحمد لله تعالى، أنهى هذا الجزء الشريف قراءة منْ أوَّلِه إلى آخرِه مع التدبُّرِ والتَّصحيحِ فقيرُ رحمةِ مولاه الغنيِّ، سليمانُ بنُ أحمدَ المحاسنيُّ التميميُّ الشاميُّ المدرِّسُ والخطيبُ بجامعِ بني أمية، وذلكَ بمدينةِ اسكدار في أوقاتٍ آخرُها يومَ الثلاثاءِ 4 جُمادى الثَّاني سنةَ 1178هـ، والحمدُ للهِ على ذلكَ. #تملُّكٌ: الحمدُ للهِ تعالى، ملَكَه الفقيرُ سليمان بنُ أحمدُ المحاسنيُّ، غُفِرَ لهما، ووضع بعده خاتمه.#عليها تصحيحاتٌ.#قراءةٌ: بلَغَ قراءةً في سنةِ 1134هـ، تحتَ القُبَّةِ في الجامعِ الأمويِّ، وكتبَه الفقيرُ إسماعيلُ الجراحيّ العجلونيُّ.
