The book of sales is a plural of sale and plural of different types, such as the sale of property, the sale of debt, the sale of benefit, the right and the corrupt, and so on. It is in the exchange language and is also called the purchase. Al-Farazdaq said... ...Chapter on the legality of lots in problematic things... If the shares differ, such as a half, a third, and a sixth in a land, the land is divided according to the smallest arrow, which is a sixth, so it is six parts and it is divided as previously, and God knows best.
