The Book of Commandments... on the authority of Al-Baraa bin Azib, may God be pleased with him, that he said, “The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was sent... and killed him while he was sleeping.” In it is the statement that Ibn Aynak was the one who killed Abu Rafi’ and that he killed him while he was sleeping. So the aspect of the hadith’s correspondence with mercy is more apparent than hidden, so praise be to God in the hereafter and the first.
