Praise be to God, who has bestowed upon us the greatness and the subtleties of blessings... and made our religion the most honorable of all religions... As for what follows: After the Qur’an, the science of hadith is the best and most precious of sciences... The book Al-Jami’ Al-Sahih by Imam Abu Abdullah... Al-Bukhari... was the best of the authentic books in terms of transmission, narration and understanding... And I have not seen an explanation that includes some of what is relevant from the book, let alone all of it... Rather, I intended by that to show the need of this book, which is next to the Book of God, for an explanation that complements the benefits... So I sought God’s help and used Him in writing an explanation described with attributes and additions... So I addressed that and explained the vocabulary of the unclear language... and I am still thinking about naming it... Mulham inspired me that he is Al-Kawakib Al-Darari in the explanation of Sahih Al-Bukhari, so I named him after him... ...Chapter on the one who answers the questioner with more than what he asked... It is necessary for the scholar to alert people in matters of what they will benefit from and expand upon, as long as it is not a pretext for permitting something within the limits of God Almighty. This is the conclusion of the Book of Knowledge and the beginning of the Book of Ablution... Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds.
