Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds... As for what follows, when my eyes began to contemplate the meaning of his saying, peace and blessings of God be upon him: Whoever among my nation memorizes forty hadiths... I tended to extract forty hadiths from Al-Masabah which was classified by Imam... Al-Baghawi... And from Al-Mashriq which was classified by Sheikh... Al-Saghani... And from Al-Mishkat which was classified by... Al-Tabrizi... ...... Sheikh... Omar Najm al-Din al-Nasafi, may God have mercy on him, said: We have given you as much as we were given in a hadith with forty hadiths. So understand it, and do not be a people who hardly understand any hadith. The forty hadith was completed.
