It was badly damaged by earth, humidity, and was torn apart. #The first is an introductory panel decorated with a floral motif, embellished with gold and blue, and its leaves framed with gold. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

Chapter on asking for a child... Chapter on fresh dates and dates and the saying of God Almighty (And he shook the trunk of the palm tree at you, and it will fall on you fresh dates)... So he stood in the gardens, and I renewed for him some of it what I had spent, and there was a similar amount left over. So I went out until I came to the Prophet - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - and I gave him the good news, and he said: “I bear witness that I am the Messenger of God.”
