The copyist and the date of copying were known from the tenth part of the same copy. - He wrote the word “Hadathna” in red, just as he wrote the main titles and the word “Chapter” in brown. - From the beginning of the chapter on the abundance of women to the end of the chapter on Al-Mustaushma. | The name of the copyist and the date of copying are confirmed from the tenth part, which is in the Hagia Sophia Library No. (830); It was mentioned in it that the date of copying was: “The twenty-ninth of the glorious month of Ramadan, of the months eight hundred and fifty-two.” | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

«قدْ وقَفَ هذه النُّسخةَ الجليلةَ سلطانُنا الأعظمُ، والخاقانُ المعظَّمُ، مالكُ البريْنِ والبحريْنِ، خادمُ الحرميْنِ الشريفيْنِ، السلطانُ بنُ السلطانِ، السلطانُ الغازي محمودٌ خان وقفًا صحيحًا شرعيًّا، لمن طالَعَ وتلى أكرمه اللهُ تعالى بالزُّلفِ والحُسنى، حرَّرَه الفقيرُ أحمدُ شيخ زادة المفتِّشُ بأوقافِ الحرميْنِ الشريفيْنِ غُفِرَ لهمُا». ثمَّ خاتمُ وقفٍ نُقِشَ بداخلِه ما نصُّه: «{الْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِي هَدَانَا لِهَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لِنَهْتَدِيَ لَوْلَا أَنْ هَدَانَا اللَّهُ} وقفُ محمودٍ خان بن مصطفى خان»
