The physical condition of the manuscript: a good antique copy. #Notes and comments: The copyist was elegant in writing and reviewing it, and wrote its text in black ink in general. He used red ink to write the chapters and distinguished the beginning of the hadiths and the differences between the versions in the footnotes, and the symbols of the hadith books within double tables. Copied by: Brockelmann mentioned in his two parts many copies of Al-Jami’ Al-Sahih, and hardly any group of manuscripts is devoid of part or parts of this venerable book. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

How was the beginning of the revelation to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the saying of God Almighty [Indeed, We have revealed to you as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him] Abu al-Waqt Abd al-Awwal ibn Isa ibn Shuaib ibn (Ibrahim) ibn Ishaq al-Sijzi al-Sufi al-Harawi told us a reading from him while we were listening in Baghdad at the end of the year two and the first of the year five hundred and fifty-three... on the authority of Anas ibn Malik that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came to him and said, “This is a mountain.” He loves us and we love him. Abraham sanctified Mecca, and I sanctify what is between its two doors. Narrated by Abdullah bin Zaid on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
